Flexpipe Systems Inc. is a Calgary based, privately owned company that manufactures and sells a unique non-metallic, corrosion-resistant pipeline product marketed primarily to oil and natural gas producers in Canada and the United States.

In 2001, the Flexpipe Research and Development team began designing a composite pipeline system which would provide the Oil and Gas industry an alternative to traditionally used steel and stick fiberglass. The result of Flexpipe’s focused research was an economic, easy-to-install, patented product of strength and durability that became available for commercial use in early 2003.

Flexpipe’s tremendous growth has garnered the attention of many technological innovators and industry associations. In 2006, Flexpipe won the Regional IRAP Award for New Technology and then was named Canada’s top innovator at the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Sixth Annual Canadian Innovation Awards. Also in 2006, Regan Davis, President & CEO of Flexpipe Systems, was chosen from an impressive list of nominees and awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award – Emerging Entrepreneur Prairie’s Region. In January 2007, Flexpipe Systems was recognized as a ‘growth champion’ and made Alberta Venture's 2007 List of "The Fast 50", ranking #6 in the "Over $20 Million" category.

Later that year, Flexpipe was a finalist in the Deloitte and Touche “50 Best Managed Companies”.  In January 2008, Flexpipe Systems made Alberta Venture's 2008 List of "The Fast 50", for the second year in a row. 

In 5 very short years, Flexpipe Systems has become the leader in composite pipeline technology selling approximately 5,000 km or 3100 miles of pipe to the oil and natural gas industry in both Canada and the United States.
