FLEXPIPE’s world-class, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at the head office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
All raw material is required to meet the strict quality control and testing requirements of FLEXPIPE Systems, as well as the specifications of applicable industry standards.
Each reel of pipe is manufactured in a single continuous production run. Specialized equipment is used in conjunction with a sophisticated electronic control system to accurately construct all FLEXPIPE linepipe. The pipe is pulled through the process and then coiled onto a transportation reel. A production line operator monitors all of the critical processes to ensure that the pipe is manufactured within specified engineering tolerances.
Every production run is tested in accordance with FLEXPIPE Systems’ Production Qualification Testing procedure.
In addition handling its own manufacturing, FLEXPIPE carries a significant on-site inventory to ensure availability of pipe when our customers need it.
